Online Cannes film market hosts Iran

Iran has met with the representatives of 14 international film festivals at the online version of Cannes film market.

At the first online Cannes film market and in the Iranian Cinema Umbrella section, Iranian representatives have negotiated with international festivals representatives.

Iran has met with agents from Sundance (US), Lisbon (Portugal), Third Action (UK), Rotterdam (the Netherlands), Berlin (Germany), El Gouna (Egypt), Mannheim Heidelberg (Germany), Tokyo (Japan), Vancouver (Canada) and Leipzig (Germany) film festivals.

The list goes on with Perth (Australia), Istanbul (Turkey), Montreal Animation (Canada) film festivals and TRT World Television channel in Turkey.

The Marché du Film is an annual event for the professionals in the film industry to connect.

Filmmakers, buyers, distributors and others come see the event as an opportunity to introduce their works and connect to each other.

The event is currently underway online on June 22-26, 2020.
